Our next meetup will be October 21 at 11am.

We will meet at Liberty Plaza (located at the corner of Liberty and Division. Map here). This was the location of our first meetup for those of you who were there.

We will spend some time putting up #believeinsherlock posters and hanging out.

Please bring #believeinsherlock posters and tape so we can put them up. Chalk is also a good idea. If you don’t mind putting 221bmichigan.tumblr.com somewhere (small) on your poster we can use them to recruit new people too. If not, that’s fine too.

Then we will migrate over to conscientiouscoattwirling’s place to continue our movie marathon. We will watch various incarnations of Sherlock Holmes, with priority gien to the incarnations we didn’t get to last time.  For this part we will me at the CVS on the corner of Carpenter Road and Packard (3090 Carpenter Rd. Map here.) at 1pm.  We will meet in the parking lot and leave most of the cars there as she has little parking by her house. If you don’t have transport to that end of town, we can get you a ride with someone who comes to the first part, so please meetup with us and we’ll get you there.

While we are watching movies, we will have a potluck again, so please bring food or drink to share. Also bring pillows and blankets as some of the seating space will be on the floor.

Please RSVP to the facebook event (meeting at the park and meeting for movies) or by sending me a message so we can plan for how many people are coming. You do not have to come for the whole day, if you can only make it for part of the time, that’s fine.

In honor of Martin Freeman’s Birthday, we will be watching various incarnations of Sherlock Holmes on film including: Sherlock, the Great Mouse Detective, Granada, one of those RDJ movies, Russian Sherlock Holmes, Sherlock Holmes in the 21st Century, and anything else you guys bring/recommend that I find. I will project any DVDs or files on the wall. Anything on VHS we can watch on the reasonably sized TV. There will also be time for socializing, eating food from the potluck feast we shall assemble, and other nonsense.

This meetup is at my home in West Bloomfield. We will be meeting in the parking lot in front of the Chiropractic place on the corner of Hiller and Greer (Map here) on September 8th at 2pm.  From here we will shuttle to my house. To find the group, look for the flag of our people:

Please bring food or drink to share. I will provide some tea from adagio and cups/plates/etc. Please let me know what you are bring either through a message or on the facebook page. We are looking at 20-25 people being in attendance. Please bring actual food (breads or vegtables or apples or cheese or food you have cooked) we are going to be at it for 8 hours, and we will get hungry.

Everyone is welcome at this event, whether or not you have been to a meetup before.

Please bring: Food to share, pillows or blankets (some of us will have to sit on the floor. You can cosplay if you’d like.

We had 27 people come out tonight for Frankenstien with Bendict Cumberbatch as the creature! It was good to see most of you again and meet a few new people too.

Also, a shout out to the group of ann arborites who were going to Frankenstein and jumped in on our meetup after they saw the flag of our people! Good to meet you guys!

Sherlock Holmes Movie/show marathon. This one will go all day. Or as long as you guys will put up with me.

Potential things we will be watching:

• An episode of Sherlock
• Sherlock Holmes: The gay gay of gay
• The Great Mouse Detective
• Brett!Holmes

This will be at my place in West Bloomfield. More details forthcoming. For now, save the date.

It will be awesome, even Sherlock thinks so.

We are meeting in Ann Arbor at the CVS on the corner of Carpenter Road and Packard (3090 Carpenter Rd. Map here). Look for the flag of our people (pink lady jacket). We’re gathering at 5:45 so that we can arrange the transport close to six.

Please bring some food to share. You don’t have cook something, chips or the like are fine. I know it’s mothers’ day, which is affecting attendance, but I’mcurrently expecting between 15-20 people.

I’m going to ask people to meet here around 5:45, so that we can get the meetup started around 6. If you are late, her actual address will be posted in the facebook group.

There will be hang out/mingling/game time at the beginning. We will also be having a little bit of a potluck. Please bring some food or snacks to share. If you don’t know what to bring shoot me an ask and I’ll give you some ideas. 221bpawnee will be providing drinks. I will bring paper plates/napkins/cups.

At approximately 7:30 we are going to watch the Hound (chins) of the Baskerville. After we watch the episode we will disperse.
